Morocco Gifts Artisanal Fountain to Brussels Suburb, Strengthening Cultural Ties

On Wednesday, Morocco offered an artisanal fountain to the Brussels municipality of Jette. This effort by the kingdom is part of strengthening the ties of friendship and cultural cooperation between Morocco and Belgium.
During the inaugural ceremony of the jewel, the Consul General of Morocco in Brussels, Abderrahmane Fyad, indicated in a statement to Map that this initiative is part of the activities organized by the Consulate in collaboration with the various municipal districts, as well as with other partners and civil society associations in Brussels. It aims to promote the cultural and civilizational aspects of the two Kingdoms, he specified.
According to him, it is a symbolic gesture expressed on behalf of the Moroccan community living in Jette as a sign of appreciation for the commendable efforts made by the municipality.
By dedicating this artisanal work to the municipality, the Consulate also intends to contribute to the consolidation, not only of the ties of friendship between the two Kingdoms in the cultural and artistic field, but also to the "strengthening of the sense of belonging of our fellow citizens to the motherland, Morocco," he added.
