The performances of the national Futsal team, currently engaged in the Arab Cup, have allowed Morocco to climb to 12th place in the world ranking.
According to the ranking unveiled this week by FIFA, the Atlas Lions have gained one place with 1,424 points, positioning themselves in 12th place, 5 points away from the world top 10.
The team led by Hicham Dguig owes this progress to the successive victories recorded during the competition currently taking place in Saudi Arabia. Morocco could gain a few more points after its victory on Friday against Libya by 3 goals to 0.
