Morocco’s Football Federation Denies Rumors of National Coach’s Dismissal

Faced with rumors of the dismissal of the national coach Vahid Halillodizc, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has provided a formal denial.
Contrary to what has been reported in the media, the national coach remains in office at the head of the Atlas Lions and is continuing his vacation abroad, the FRMF said in a statement, specifying that it has not made any decision regarding the future of the coach.
The organization also denied the information that there had been a meeting between the president of the federation and the technician. Unfounded rumors, the organization assures.
"No meeting took place today between the president of the federation and the national coach." The latter is "still on private vacation outside Morocco and will join the Mohammed VI football complex this week," it reads.
