Morocco Football Federation Delays Release of World Cup Ticket Scandal Investigation

The results of the investigation initiated by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) to determine the responsibilities on the tickets sold on the black market at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar were not published on Monday, January 16 as planned.
Upon returning from the World Cup held in Qatar, the FRMF wanted to know more about the scandal of thousands of tickets intended for Moroccan supporters and sold on the black market. The commission set up for this investigation was supposed to publish the results on Monday, January 16. "The results of the investigation will be published as soon as they are ready, including the sanctions," reports Médias24.
When sending the commission to investigate, Fouzi Lekjaa insisted that the people responsible for this kind of behavior that does not honor Moroccan football will be severely sanctioned, regardless of their position. "Any person who is found to be involved in any way in the manipulation of tickets will no longer have a place in the football sector," the Federation president had threatened.
