School dropout in Morocco is becoming increasingly worrying. In total, more than 161,000 students dropped out of the middle school cycle during the 2020-2021 school year, according to statistics from the Ministry of National Education.
In detail, 62,244 students dropped out of their schooling in the third year of this cycle, compared to 60,970 in the first year of the same cycle and 37,623 in the second year, reports Al Ahdath Al Maghribia.
These alarming statistics raise questions about the management of human, material and financial resources allocated to these establishments.
