Morocco Eyes Strasbourg’s Bellaarouch as Potential Goalkeeper for National Team

Walid Regragui, coach of the Atlas Lions, who is working to strengthen the Moroccan team before the upcoming matches, has several players in his sights, including Alaa Bellaarouch, the Strasbourg goalkeeper, who is shining in Ligue 1.
Will Alaa Bellaarouch, 22, be the third goalkeeper of the Atlas Lions alongside Yassine Bounou and Munir El Kajoui, who play in the Saudi league? Walid Regragui is showing interest in the Strasbourg goalkeeper who is delivering excellent performances in the French Ligue 1. He could join the den of the Atlas Lions for the next training camp in March.
The Moroccan coach also wants to call up other players to strengthen his team before the friendly matches that will take place at the Grand Stade d’Agadir, one against Angola on Friday, March 22, 2024, the other against Mauritania on Tuesday, March 26, in order to strengthen certain positions, particularly in attack and at the left-back position.
He therefore plans to summon Youssef En-Nesyri, a Sevilla player, or Adam Aznou, a Bayern Munich player in Germany, to solve the problem on the left flank, and is calling on Ilias Akhomach, the Villarreal (Spain) player, to revitalize the midfield. He also has his sights set on Soufiane Rahimi, a player from Al Ain in the United Arab Emirates, and Mohamed Hrimat, a star from AS FAR, as well as Mourad Batna, Mohamed Bouldini and Abderrazak Hamdallah. They have distinguished themselves this season.
