Walid Regragui accused of not respecting tradition

Walid Regragui, coach of the Moroccan national team, would not consider announcing the list of players selected for the Atlas Lions’ friendly matches against Angola and Mauritania at a press conference.
This time, the tradition will not be renewed. Walid Regragui, the coach of the Moroccan national team, will not unveil the list of players selected for the two friendly matches of the Atlas Lions. The list will be published on the website of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF). "No press conference for Walid Regragui’s list on Thursday. The list will be announced online by the FRMF," reads a message posted on the Moroccan Players X account.
The Atlas Lions will face Angola on Friday, March 22, before crossing swords with Mauritania on Tuesday, March 26 at the Grand Stade d’Agadir. These two matches represent opportunities for the Atlas Lions to make their supporters forget their failed CAN. They also represent a major challenge for the coach of the Atlas Lions, Walid Regragui. In the event of defeat against Angola and Mauritania in March, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) could part ways with him.
