Morocco Eyes Bid for 2031 FIFA Women’s World Cup

After the 2030 World Cup, organized in collaboration with Spain and Portugal, Morocco says it is tempted by the 2031 Women’s World Cup. This is what the president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), Faouzi Lekjaâ, has just revealed.
He, who is also the Minister Delegate to the Budget, has just expressed his wish to see Morocco host the 2031 Women’s World Cup. This announcement was made during a joint study day between the government and the two chambers of parliament.
The FRMF president stated that Morocco, which has great potential, aspires to continue on this path and to apply for the 2031 World Cup.
But the road to hosting the 2031 Women’s World Cup will not be without obstacles. Lekjaa acknowledges that Morocco faces serious competitors, including China and England, who have also expressed their willingness to host the global event.
