FIFA Chief Favors Spain-Portugal-Morocco Bid for 2030 World Cup

Giani Infantino, the president of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), continues to consider the joint bid of Spain, Portugal and Morocco as the favorite to host the 2030 World Cup.
Despite the Rubiales affair, named after the now former president of the Spanish football federation who forcibly kissed player Jenni Hermoso after the final of the women’s World Cup won by Spain, Infantino continues to consider the joint candidacy of Spain, Portugal and Morocco as the favorite to host the 2030 World Cup, reports journalist Juanma Castaño.
For the moment, FIFA has not yet announced the process for submitting bids, originally scheduled for the third quarter that has just ended, notes Marca, noting that in addition to the bid of Spain, Portugal and Morocco, the candidacy of South American countries and the likely candidacy of Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Greece are also in the running.
