A general mobilization around the vaccination campaign against Covid-19. The Ministry of Health wants to stack the odds in its favor to improve the epidemiological situation in the country. To this end, the department of Khaled Aït Taleb has just sent a letter to the regional health directors throughout Morocco asking them to involve students from higher schools of nursing sciences and health techniques in the vaccination campaign.

"To accelerate the pace of the Covid-19 vaccination operation and in order to quickly reach collective immunity, we would like you to involve students and interns from nursing and medical science schools and institutes in the campaign," explains the letter signed by the Minister of Health and dated July 28, 2021.

Since last Sunday, July 25, the campaign has been experiencing a certain momentum thanks to the reception of 300,000 doses of the American Janssen vaccine and one million doses of the Chinese Sinopharm vaccine.

After setting up vaccination centers in several cities, including Casablanca, Marrakech and Agadir, the health authorities have decided to extend the vaccination campaign to 25-29 year olds, while allowing Moroccans to be vaccinated every day until 8:00 p.m., including weekends.
