Morocco Expands COVID-19 Vaccine Eligibility to All Adults 18 and Older

The Covid-19 vaccination campaign in Morocco is now extended to people aged 18 and over, the Ministry of Health announced.
People aged 18 and over can now get vaccinated. They are therefore invited to go to the vaccination centers near their place of residence. This new measure, which is not conditional on the place of residence or address, aims to accelerate the national vaccination campaign, the Ministry of Health indicates.
It also calls on all the targeted categories to continue to adhere to this major national project, while complying with the prevention measures before and after the vaccination operation, in order to contribute to the efforts to curb the virus and progress towards collective immunity to return to normal life.
As of August 13, 16,192,313 people have received the first dose, while 11,368,958 people have been injected with the two doses. The Covid-19 report shows 741,836 cases of contamination, 649,429 recoveries and 10,823 deaths.
