Morocco to Receive 680,000 Pfizer Doses, Boosting Teen Vaccination Efforts

Morocco is expected to receive a new batch of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine tomorrow, Saturday, September 4. This new delivery will allow the kingdom to continue its vaccination campaign against the coronavirus, recently extended to the 12-17 age group.
In a statement to the Le360 website, Dr. Saïd Afif, member of the Technical and Scientific Vaccination Committee, announced the delivery of 680,000 doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine to Morocco, tomorrow, Saturday, September 4, 2021. This new batch will allow Morocco to boost its vaccination campaign against the coronavirus, extended to the 12-17 age group last Tuesday.
As of September 2, 18,875,138 have received the first dose, while 15,285,804 people have been given the two doses. The Covid-19 report shows 872,351 cases of contamination, 807,433 recoveries and 12,819 deaths.
