Morocco Eases COVID-19 Vaccine Access: No Appointments or Residency Proof Required

In Morocco, in addition to being open from Monday to Sunday, vaccination centers can now welcome people without an appointment and without citizens being required to bring proof of their place of residence. The news was confirmed by the Ministry of Health in a press release issued on Monday.
This new provision took effect this Monday, July 26, 2021. Moroccans are now allowed to get vaccinated against Covid-19 at any vaccination center in Morocco and without an appointment. Good news that could boost the national vaccination campaign extended to people aged 25 to 29.
In its press release, the ministry stressed that those who have received the first dose can go to any center close to their place of work or residence to take the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
These new measures are intended to accelerate the vaccination campaign against Covid-19 in Morocco and to achieve collective immunity within a relatively reasonable time frame, the Ministry of Health said.
