Morocco Enhances Security and Digitization of Foreign Resident Permits

The General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) announced the securing of residence permits for foreigners residing in Morocco.
According to the DGSN, this decision aims to facilitate the services provided to all users. It will also allow them to be informed of the measures adopted in terms of digitization of the administration.
This modernization of the documents takes into account the registration and residence cards issued to foreign nationals residing in Morocco. It also concerns the travel document reserved for minor children of foreigners regardless of their age and which allows the security authorities to verify their identity in a secure and reliable manner during their stay in Morocco.
By providing these secure documents, the DGSN wants to prevent their falsification and unauthorized use by others. To this end, they are equipped with a password communicated only to the holder when the document is collected.
