Morocco Extends 5-Day Home Quarantine to Foreign Residents Arriving from High-Risk Countries

The obligation for Moroccans coming from List B countries to self-isolate for 5 days at home once in Morocco also applies to foreign residents in the kingdom.
This is an announcement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad, which proceeded on Wednesday to update the conditions for access to Moroccan territory once again.
Thus, resident foreigners "coming from List B countries, and who are concerned by the confinement, are called upon to self-isolate at home once in Morocco for 5 days, with a screening test on the 5th day," can be read in a tweet from Nasser Bourita’s department.
Foreign residents in Morocco will therefore be treated the same as Moroccans living abroad and Moroccan citizens residing in the Kingdom.
It should be recalled that the Ministry of Health updated, on Monday, the health provisions for international travel, specifying in particular the measures to be observed for countries on List A and those on List B, as well as the common measures and the list of vaccines accepted in Morocco.
