Morocco Emerges as Top Contender for Africa Cup of Nations, Says Cameroon Coach Seedorf

According to Clarence Seedorf, former (great) international player and current coach of the Cameroon national team, Morocco is one of the favorites to win the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) in its 2019 edition.
The man who won four Champions Leagues with three different clubs (Ajax Amsterdam in 95, Real Madrid in 98 and AC Milan in 2003 and 2007), the one the AC Milan supporters nicknamed "il professore", the former midfielder of the Dutch national team, has just declared himself proud to have finished tied with the Atlas Lions in the CAN qualifiers. Indeed, the current coach of the Indomitable Lions sees the Moroccan national team as a favorite to win the cup.
While the FIFA.com site asked him to comment on the chances of the Cameroonian team in this CAN, Seedorf stated: "finishing level on points with Morocco, who are among the favorites for the CAN, with barely two goals scored less, says a lot about our performance and our level of preparation."
And indeed, the Moroccan team and the Cameroonian team were in the same group (group B) during the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers and Morocco finished first, with the same number of points as Cameroon, eleven points for the two teams, but with a better goal difference (-2) in favor of the Atlas Lions.
