Morocco Edges Israel 62-58 in Historic Women’s Basketball Friendly

The Moroccan women’s basketball team beat their Israeli counterpart (62 to 58) in a friendly match, on Wednesday, at the Fathallah El Bouâzzaoui hall in Salé.
This is the first time the two teams have faced each other. This match is part of the sports cooperation since the normalization of relations between the two countries in December 2021.
The Royal Moroccan Basketball Federation (FRMBB) and the IBBA have indeed signed a framework cooperation agreement, in order to develop sports exchanges.
The high-level match offered to the present public was fiercely contested in a spirit of sportsmanship and fair play, it is noted. The Moroccan team, strengthened by its players playing abroad, finally took the upper hand in the final moments.
