Morocco and Israel Sign Basketball Partnership Agreement to Boost Sports Cooperation

Morocco and Israel are committing to strengthening sports cooperation through the signing of a partnership agreement to be sealed this Tuesday, June 14 in Rabat.
Negotiations between the Royal Moroccan Basketball Federation (FRMBB) and its Israeli counterpart will allow the signing of a partnership agreement. The event will be chaired by Chakib Benmoussa, Minister of National Education, Preschool and Sports, on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 in Rabat. The president of the FRMBB, Mustapha Aourach, and the members of the Federation’s executive committee, as well as Emir Helevi, president of the Israeli Basketball Federation (IBA), will also be present. Hamane Niang, president of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) will also be present.
This historic event will be crowned by the organization of a friendly basketball match between the national women’s team and its Israeli counterpart at the covered hall of the Prince Moulay Abdallah Sports Complex, on Wednesday, June 15, 2022.
Through this cooperation, the FRMBB intends to learn from the experience of the Israeli federation, which since its creation in 1934, has built a reputation at the level of supervision, training and financial management.
