Morocco Eases Travel Restrictions: Special Exit Permits Now Available for Select Groups

Morocco has partially reopened its borders. As planned, the categories of people subject to special authorization before leaving the national territory as part of the partial reopening of borders can obtain it from the prefectures.
According to Médias24, the people authorized to obtain this important document are Moroccans who have a long-stay visa of type D without a residence permit, people who have benefited from family reunification visas, students traveling abroad for the first time, people traveling for medical reasons.
In addition, Moroccan citizens abroad and foreigners residing in Morocco and their families are exempt from this authorization to return to the country.
