Royal Air Maroc Resumes Flights to Morocco with Strict Health Protocols

As part of the special flights starting on July 15, the national airline, Royal Air Maroc (RAM), invited passengers on Saturday to strictly comply with the conditions set by the government.
In a press release, Royal Air Maroc (RAM) announced the opening of flights to Morocco for all Moroccan citizens (tourists stranded abroad, students or residents abroad), their families, as well as foreigners residing in Morocco and their families.
Passengers on these flights will have to present a negative PCR test dated less than 48 hours and undergo a serological test. Children under 11 years of age are not subject to these tests, the press release states.
Moroccans residing abroad (MREs) and their families, foreigners residing or not in Morocco and their families, Moroccan students enrolled in universities abroad, businessmen and women, and citizens required to travel abroad for health reasons, are eligible for flights departing from Morocco, with the exceptional authorization of the prefecture of their province, the press release notes, adding that these passengers are exempt from tests and must take the necessary measures to comply with the health requirements in their final destination countries.
The Royal Air Maroc press release also insists on the mandatory wearing of masks on board flights where only handbags and bags for children and computers are allowed.
