Morocco Drawn with Ivory Coast, South Africa in Challenging 2019 Africa Cup of Nations Group

It won’t be a walk in the park for the Moroccan football team, which will have to face Côte d’Ivoire, Namibia and South Africa following the draw for the 2019 CAN which took place in Cairo.
If we rely on the FIFA ranking of this April, the Atlas Lions should have all their chances of passing the first round, with Morocco ranked 45th, Côte d’Ivoire 65th, South Africa 73rd and finally Namibia 113th in the world.
Morocco nevertheless avoids major teams, such as Egypt, who are playing in front of their home crowd, Senegal and Tunisia who, for Hervé Renard, are favorites to win the most prestigious African competition in its edition this year.
