Morocco to Donate 160 Tons of Fertilizer to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves announced that Morocco will make a major fertilizer donation to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
In a statement to WEFM, Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves announced that Morocco would donate a shipment of 160 tons of fertilizer to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. "We received an email yesterday (Monday, May 1) that the Moroccan agency for international cooperation acting on behalf of the Kingdom of Morocco, in accordance with the agreements we have had, are donating a shipment of fertilizer, 160 tons, they would arrive very soon," he said. According to the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Agriculture is preparing to receive the donation.
In addition to the donation, Morocco is providing technical assistance to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines through soil fertility testing. "The Moroccans are already doing soil fertility tests, we need to intensify this so that the farmers feel the impact of this technical work... it is essential to work," the Prime Minister had insisted in a statement to NBC.
