OCP Group Acquires 50% Stake in Spanish Animal Nutrition Firm GlobalFeed

The Office Chérifien des Phosphates (OCP) confirms that it has successfully acquired 50% of the capital of the Spanish company GlobalFeed. This transaction was carried out in partnership with the fertilizer company Fertinagro Biotech, also based in Spain.
GlobalFeed, whose core business is the production of phosphate-based products for animal nutrition, is therefore joining the galaxy of the Moroccan giant. For Houda Sebti, head of the Animal Nutrition division at OCP, this operation aims "to strengthen the position of the OCP group in the sector of products intended for animal nutrition and to extend our geographical presence".
This alliance is not limited to a simple transaction. It is part of an ambitious project to increase the production of GlobalFeed which, according to the statements of Houda Sbiti, should reach 400,000 tons by 2027.
In 2022, government authorization had been granted to OCP to set up a joint venture with Fertinagro Biotech. Objective: to produce and market fertilizers, with an initial capital of 25 million euros.
