The interest is to attract investments and create qualified job opportunities in the industrial sector. Interested companies have until September 17 to submit their bids, specifies L’Economiste. The selected candidates will sign a public-private partnership agreement with the government for a period of 30 years for the Had Soualem and Sahel Lakhyayta sites and 15 years for the Bouznika site.

The public partner is responsible for mobilizing the cleared and connected land to all necessary off-site infrastructure and built to the highest international standards, obtaining the required authorizations and upgrading the industrial zones.

The private partner, on the other hand, will have to pay the land acquisition price and a lump sum, carry out the necessary on-site developments, or ensure the marketing and management of the industrial zone according to quality standards and in compliance with the environmental and social standards of the MCC, indicates the same source. The MCA-Morocco Agency will share with potential bidders the guidelines and guides for managing Covid-19 related risks, says L’Economiste.
