Morocco’s COVID-19 Recovery Rate Surpasses Active Cases as Country Makes Progress

More than two months after the first case of covid-19 was recorded, Morocco has more recovered people than active cases under treatment.
To date, out of 6,593 positive cases tested, the kingdom has 3,222 recoveries, 3,182 under treatment and 188 deaths.
The recovery rate, which continues to increase, is now 48.87% compared to 48.26% for cases under treatment. As for the mortality rate, it stands at 2.87%.
As usual, the ministry calls on Moroccans to respect the rules of hygiene and health safety as well as the preventive measures taken by the Moroccan authorities by showing responsibility and patriotism.
