Morocco’s COVID-19 Cases Surge to 3,377 as Casablanca-Settat Region Remains Epicenter

Morocco has 3,377 confirmed cases of covid-19, after recording 168 new infections on Tuesday, April 22, 2020.
According to the Ministry of Health, the kingdom is approaching the 400 (398) mark for recovered cases, with five new recoveries, while the number of deaths has reached 149.
In addition, the number of cases excluded after negative analysis results carried out in the laboratory, is now set at 15,569.
Since the first case was recorded in the kingdom, the Casablanca-Settat region remains the epicenter of covid-19, with 903 cases against a single case for the Guelmim Oued Noun region.
