Morocco Coach Renard Calls Up Controversial Midfielder Harit Despite Club Struggles

Despite his irregularity within the Schalke 04 club with injuries and absences, national coach Hervé Renard has decided to call up player Amine Harit for the two upcoming matches of the Moroccan national football team.
In an article devoted to Harit, the newspaper Al Massae recalls the comments of the German club’s coach who claims that the non-starting of the Moroccan player is due to his "lack of seriousness". For Domenico Tedesco, "each player must remain focused on his professional goals and not on anything else". Indeed, Harit is criticized for his behavior off the field, including his outings in nightclubs, sometimes even on match nights.
The daily explains that the player was not called up for the last two matches of his team, having been part of all the matches last year and even being named one of the best young players in the German championship.
Despite these misadventures, the national coach has decided to trust him and call him up for the two upcoming matches of the Atlas Lions, one against Malawi and one against Messi’s team, Argentina. Still, he will have to put him on the field, but that’s another question.
