Injured Amine Harit Out for Morocco’s Key AFCON Qualifier and Argentina Friendly

Suffering from an injury, Moroccan international Amine Harit will be absent for the upcoming matches of the Moroccan national football team.
"The Moroccan international and attacking midfielder of the German club Shalke 04, Amine Harit, who is suffering from an injury, will miss the matches of the Atlas Lions against Malawi, counting for the 6th and last round (group B) of the qualifiers for the 2019 Total Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) in Egypt and against Argentina, preparatory to the final phase of this CAN," writes the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) on its website.
To replace him, the coach of the Atlas Lions Hervé Renard has announced the arrival of Walid El Karti, midfielder of Wydad Casablanca, who will join the national team in training camp.
Amine Harit was the victim on Saturday of a torn ligament in his left ankle during the last training session before the match that pitted his team against RB Leipzig (0-1 defeat). For this type of injury, it generally takes 1 to 3 months for the full recovery of the player.
