Morocco Coach Halilhodzic Pursues FIFA Approval for El Haddadi’s National Team Switch

National coach Vahid Halilhodzic is not giving up on the El Haddadi case, and plans to summon him as soon as he is authorized by FIFA.
After the invalidation of the case of Moroccan player Munir El Haddadi by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) and the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), the Franco-Bosnian coach is not letting go. In an interview with Arryadia, he announces that efforts are being made to enlist the Sevilla FC striker. "We’re trying to qualify him. He’s impatient and so am I, because we need this type of player, capable of making the difference," said the boss of the Atlas Lions’ technical staff.
During this interview, Vahid Halilhodzic also addressed several other topics, including Botola players and the case of Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech, a key player in the squad. "He is very effective, decisive and brings a lot. His left foot does a lot of good for the team," stressed the French coach. He did not fail to salute the versatility of the author of 5 of the last 6 goals of the Lions.
Regarding his relations with the Botola players, the national coach affirms that he only selects Moroccans. "Neither Tunisians nor Algerians... only Moroccans. Whether they play abroad or here, it’s the same. I keep the best performers."
