Morocco Coach Halilhodzic Aims for Fourth World Cup Qualification with Atlas Lions

In an interview with Arryadia, the Franco-Bosnian coach expressed his ambition to achieve this feat again with the Atlas Lions. "My big goal, my personal ambition, is to qualify a fourth team for the World Cup," said the national coach.

To succeed in this challenge, he plans to pass on to his players the culture of a job well done. More than a year after his arrival, Vahid Halilhodzic is proud of his results, particularly the country’s latest FIFA ranking (4th in Africa and 35th in the world).

For the Franco-Bosnian coach, Morocco is still far from the feat. "We are not yet as efficient as I demand," he estimates, while praising the passion of Moroccans for football. While Morocco managed to qualify away against the Central African Republic, some football nations have not been as successful. Ivory Coast, Nigeria or Tunisia have lost away from home, he recalls.

The national coach also commented on the extreme working conditions that prevailed during the November training camp. According to Vahid Halilhodzic, it was the "most difficult training camp" of his life due to the heat, humidity, health restrictions and organizational difficulties...)
