Morocco’s Coach Halilhodzic Aims to Secure Top Spot in 2022 AFCON Qualifiers

National coach Vahid Halilhodzic was pleased with the Atlas Lions’ resounding victory over the Central African Republic’s Fauves. This victory must be maintained by the team to remain the leader.
Vahid Halilhodzic appreciated the performance of the national team, against their counterparts from the Central African Republic (4-1), during this first leg match counting for the 2022 CAN qualifiers.
For the Moroccan coach, the team was destabilized after the equalizing goal before regaining control. According to Vahid Halilhodzic, this victory is well deserved for his protégés, whom he congratulates in passing.
The Moroccan goals in this confrontation were scored thanks to a goal by Achraf Hakimi, and a brace by Hakim Ziyech and a first goal by the newcomer, Zakaria Aboukhlal, to the delight of coach Vahid Halilhodzic.
Moreover, the defense remains mobilized compared to the other competitions, especially the one scheduled for Tuesday evening for the return match of the 2022 CAN.
