Morocco Clinches Third CHAN Title: King Mohammed VI Hails Football Triumph

King Mohammed VI sent a message of congratulations to the members of the national football team of local players, following their victory in the African Nations Championship (CHAN-2024).
In this message, the Sovereign indicates that he followed the event with "great pride and enthusiasm". He qualifies the team’s performance as a "well-deserved victory in the final of the eighth edition of the African Nations Championship (CHAN-2024), jointly organized by the brotherly Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda".
The royal message underlines the importance of this title, the third for the country in this competition, which reinforces the recent successes of Moroccan football. "It is a source of joy and pride to address our warm congratulations to you for this continental title, the third of its kind, which consolidates the exceptional continental exploits and performances recently achieved by Moroccan football," it is written, before saluting "the efforts of all the components of the national team, players, coaches and technical, medical and administrative staff, as well as the leaders of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation".
The Sovereign also expresses his "great consideration" for the contribution of the team members, which he links to a "spirit of sincere patriotism". This success, according to the message, is called upon to become "a strong source of motivation for our various national teams and sports clubs to move forward, imbued with the culture of victory, in order to win more titles".
King Mohammed VI reiterates his congratulations to the members of the national team, while assuring them of his "High solicitude and benevolence" and wishing them success in the continuation of their sports career.
