King Mohammed VI congratulates the Atlas Lions
King Mohammed VI has sent a message of congratulations to the members of the national football team, finalists of the Africa Cup of Nations (Morocco 2025). The Sovereign has praised the distinguished performance of the players and the various staff for this honorable continental achievement.
In this message, the Sovereign expresses his warmest congratulations to the players, coaches, technical, medical and administrative staff, as well as the officials of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, stressing that through this journey, the team has shown that "perseverance, seriousness and team spirit are the way to achieve performance". For the Sovereign, this success presents to the world an example of what Moroccan and African youth can achieve when they have confidence in their talents and abilities.
The King of Morocco has also highlighted the importance of the strategic vision of investing in human capital and modernizing the Kingdom’s infrastructure. According to the royal message, the latter have demonstrated their resilience and "world-class level of preparation in anticipation of hosting the 2030 World Cup".
