Morocco Climbs to 33rd in FIFA World Rankings After CHAN Victory

Good news for the Atlas Lions who are gaining momentum in the FIFA ranking. The Moroccan national team has gained two places in the latest ranking published by the international federation on Thursday, February 18.
A leap forward for the Atlas Lions that is justified by their success in the African Nations Championship (CHAN). Morocco is now in 33rd place with 1481 points.
The ranking at the African level places the national team in 4th position behind Senegal, Tunisia and Algeria. At the global level, Belgium is still first with 1780 points, followed by France (1755 points) and Brazil (1743 points).
