Morocco’s Capital Markets Chief Honored by Spain’s King Felipe VI

Nezha Hayat, President of the Moroccan Capital Markets Authority (AMMC), has been elevated to the rank of Commander of the Order of Civil Merit by the King of Spain, Felipe VI. This distinction was presented to her by the Ambassador of Spain to the Kingdom, for her dedication and commitment to strengthening Moroccan-Spanish economic relations.
Ricardo Diez-Hochleitner, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to Morocco, honored Nezha Hayat, on behalf of the Spanish Sovereign, in the presence of personalities from the political, economic, artistic and diplomatic worlds.
Delivering a speech in honor of the President of the AMMC, the Ambassador stressed: "Throughout her professional career, Ms. Hayat has shown not only an attentive attitude towards Spain but also a very positive one towards Spanish companies that have approached her to seek advice, support and follow-up".
Working with both IBEX35 and CAC40 companies and small and medium-sized structures, Nezha Hayat is very committed to respecting transparency in business. Knowing that the Moroccan and Spanish capital markets have several points in common, the President specified that she is working "to build a transparent market with regulation at the service of the dynamics of the markets, so that it contributes more to the financing of the Moroccan economy, which is increasingly oriented towards the international".
