More than 5,000 Moroccan students are currently pursuing their studies in Spain, said the Spanish ambassador to Morocco, Ricardo Diez-Hochleitner Rodriguez.
The Spanish diplomat was speaking at the opening of the 3rd edition of the Spanish university fair hosted by the Spanish embassy in Rabat.
According to Ricardo Diez-Hochleitner Rodriguez, nearly 190,000 girls and boys from the Moroccan community living in Spain attend the country’s schools.
This fair aims to show the opportunities that Spain offers to foreign students, especially Moroccans, a country that must be considered a "brother country and a strategic partner", he said.
