Morocco’s Cabinet Reviews 2022 Budget Bill and International Agreements

During the government Council held this Saturday, the ministers followed a presentation by the Minister of Economy and Finance on the preparations for the 2022 Finance Bill and proceeded to examine several international agreements, including the one with Israel.

According to the press release from the Department of the Head of Government, the Minister of Economy and Finance, Nadia Fattah Alaoui, presented to the council the preparatory measures relating to the drafting of the 2022 Finance Bill.

Subsequently, the council studied an organic law modifying and supplementing the organic law relating to appointments to senior positions in accordance with the provisions of Articles 49 and 92 of the Constitution, presented by Ghita Mezzour, Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of Administration Reform and Digital Transition.

The Council continued its work by examining the protocol amending Council of Europe Convention No. 108 for the Protection of Individuals with regard to Automatic Processing of Personal Data, signed on October 10, 2018 in Strasbourg, with a draft law approving said protocol.

The meeting was also devoted to the examination of two cooperation agreements between the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco and the Government of the State of Israel, signed on August 11, 2021 in Rabat, the first concerning air services with a draft law approving this agreement, while the second concerns cooperation in the fields of culture and sports, the statement continues.
