Morocco to Approve VAT Reimbursement Plan in Government Council Meeting

The government will hold a council this Thursday, under the chairmanship of Aziz Akhannouch. On the agenda of the work, among other things, a draft decree on the application of the value added tax provided for in the General Tax Code.
According to a press release from the Prime Minister’s department, the session will also be devoted to the examination of a draft decree amending the application of the law on the organization of the tourist guide profession.
This will be followed by the examination of a draft decree supplementing and amending the application of the Customs Code and indirect taxes under the administration of customs and indirect taxes.
Then, the Executive will look at a convention concerning the protection of workers against occupational risks due to air pollution, noise and vibrations in the workplace, adopted by the International Labor Conference at its sixty-third session held on June 20, 1977 in Geneva, with a draft law approving the aforementioned convention.
Finally, the Council will rule on proposals for appointments to senior positions, in accordance with the provisions of Article 92 of the Constitution.
