The Royal Armed Forces are accelerating the modernization of their fleet. Morocco is preparing to acquire two C-295W military transport aircraft, a strategic move aimed at multiplying its operational responsiveness in the face of new regional security challenges.

The information was revealed on X and Facebook networks by the specialized forum Far-Maroc. The kingdom has ordered two tactical aircraft, one of which will display the registration "Cn-Amt", although the exact amount of the transaction and delivery schedule remain confidential. This acquisition confirms the general staff’s willingness to massively renew its air arsenal.

Developed by the Airbus group, this aircraft far surpasses its Spanish-origin predecessor, the Casa CN-235. The C-295W stands out with more robust engines and state-of-the-art navigation instruments that considerably extend its flight range. Its redesigned fuselage can now transport up to 70 military personnel, compared to barely 40 for the old version.
