Morocco Braces for Scorching Sunday as Temperatures Soar to 40°C (104°F)

It will be a rather hot, even very hot Sunday that is expected this Sunday, October 11 in a good part of Morocco, especially in the south of the country, where temperatures will reach 40 degrees.
According to the General Directorate of Meteorology, this morning it will be 7 to 13 degrees on the Atlas and the Rif, 14 to 19 degrees on the Oriental, 17 to 22 degrees on the north and center, the northwest of the southern provinces and the southeast, and 21 to 25 degrees on the east and south of the southern provinces.
In the afternoon, we expect 22 to 29 degrees on the Atlas, the Rif, the Oriental and near the coasts, 30 to 36 degrees on the Saiss, the phosphate and Oulmes plateaus, the northern and central plains and the southeast, and 35 to 40 degrees on the interior of the Souss and the Saharan provinces.
