Extreme Heat Wave Hits Morocco: Temperatures Soar to 45°C (113°F)

It will be hot, even very hot, in a large part of Morocco this Monday, June 15, with temperatures reaching 45 degrees, particularly in the south of the country.
According to the daily forecasts of the National Meteorology Directorate (DMN), it will be hot today in the South and quite hot in the Southeast, the Souss, Tensift and Rhamna.
This morning, it is expected to be 7 to 12 degrees on the Atlas and Rif reliefs, 25 to 31 degrees in the southeast and south of the country, and 14 to 20 degrees elsewhere.
Temperatures will be very hot in the afternoon, with 22 to 27 degrees on the reliefs and near the north and central coasts, 27 to 33 degrees in the Oriental, the Mediterranean coast, the Saiss, the northern plains and the phosphate and Oulmès plateaus, 33 to 38 degrees on the Tadla, Rhamna, Tensift plains, the southeast slopes, the Souss and the north of the southern provinces, and 40 to 45 degrees in the southeast and south of the Saharan provinces.
