Extreme Heat Wave Hits Morocco: Temperatures Soar to 46°C (115°F) in Some Regions

It will be a very hot day this Friday, July 10 in Morocco, with temperatures ranging from 15 degrees in the morning to 46 degrees in the afternoon, according to the Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM).

Thus, this morning, it will be 25 to 30 degrees in the Southeast and the interior of the southern provinces, 20 to 25 degrees in the Oriental, the Saiss, the Rif, the Mediterranean and the interior plains and 15 to 20 degrees elsewhere.

In the afternoon, it is expected to be 42 to 46 degrees in the interior of the Souss, 32 to 37 degrees in the Oriental, the Rif, the phosphate and Oulmès plateaus and the Atlantic plains and 25 to 31 degrees in the Atlas mountains and near the coasts.
