Morocco Braces for Scorching Heat Wave with Temperatures Soaring to 40°C

It will be a rather hot day this Wednesday, May 20 in Morocco, indicates the National Meteorology Directorate (DMN), which announces temperatures reaching up to 40 degrees.
This morning, it will be between 6 and 12 degrees on the Atlas and the Rif, 13 and 19 degrees on the Oriental and the phosphate and Oulmès plateaus, the northern and central plains and the southeast slopes and 17 and 24 degrees on the southern provinces.
In the afternoon, the maximum temperatures will be between 18 to 25 on the Atlas and the Rif, 22 to 28 degrees on the coasts, 29 to 35 degrees on the Oriental, the phosphate plateaus, the Atlantic northern and central plains, the Saiss and the southeast slopes and 33 to 38 degrees on the interior of Souss and the southern provinces.
