Morocco Braces for Intense Heat Wave with Temperatures Soaring to 44°C

The weather will be particularly hot until Wednesday in several Moroccan provinces. According to forecasts from the National Meteorology Directorate (DMN), temperatures will range between 39 and 44 degrees.
Until Tuesday, temperatures will vary between 41 and 44°C in the provinces of Aousserd, Oued Eddahab, Smara (East), Tata, Zagora and Errachidia, according to a special weather bulletin from the DMN.
In Figuig, Ouarzazate, Boulemane, Guercif, Fquih Ben Saleh, Kelaat des Sraghna, Taza, Taounate, Taourirte, Fès, Meknès, Sefrou, Moulay Yacoub, Sidi Slimane, Khouribga, Beni Mellal and Oujda, the expected temperatures on Monday and Tuesday are 39 to 42 degrees.
In the provinces of Boulemane, Midelt, Jerada and Figuig, thunderstorms, accompanied locally by hail and gusts, are announced, the DMN bulletin specifies, adding that the weather will remain quite hot on Wednesday, in the Oriental, the South and the southeast of the country.
