Morocco Braces for Intense Heat Wave with Temperatures Soaring to 43°C

The General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) announced a heat wave that will affect several Moroccan regions on Monday and Tuesday next. Temperatures could reach up to 43°C in some of them.
According to an orange level alert bulletin issued by the DGM, hot weather (38/42°C) is expected this Monday in Taroudant, Guelmim, El Kelaa des Sraghna and Fquih Ben Salah.
On Tuesday, the cities of Guelmim, Taroudant, Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, Inzegane Aït Melloul, Chtouka Aït Baha, Tata, Assa-Zag, Smara, Tan-Tan, Tarfaya, Aousserd, Chichaoua, Youssoufia, Marrakech, Essaouira, Rhamna, El Kelaa des Sraghna, Fquih Ben Salah, Settat, Sidi Slimane and Sidi Kacem will have to face temperatures ranging from 38 to 43°C.
