The Moroccan government will soon launch the work on the highway project connecting the cities of El Hajeb and Rissani.
At a cost of 6.2 billion dirhams, this ambitious project aims to strengthen connectivity between the two cities and boost the economic development of the region. The El Hajeb-Rissani highway will be 420 kilometers long.
A total of 58 engineering structures will be built along the highway to ensure traffic flow and user safety. The future El Hajeb-Rissani highway will also be connected to the highways linking Fez to Rabat and Oujda in order to strengthen economic and social exchanges between the Drâa-Tafilalet and Fès-Meknès regions.
