Morocco to Begin Construction on 105-km Nador-Guercif Highway in 2021

The Minister of Equipment, Transport, Logistics and Water announced, on Tuesday, November 24, the launch of the construction work for the highway section connecting Nador to Guercif for early 2021.
This announcement was made during a meeting that brought together the central officials of the Ministry of Equipment and the National Company of Motorways of Morocco.
This project covers a distance of 105 km and includes three sections, namely Guercif-Saka over 36.5 km, Saka-Driouch over 40.5 km and Driouch-port of Nador, in the western Mediterranean, over 27.2 km.
With a total cost of 5.76 billion DH, it will help decongest these two localities and avoid the endless traffic jams on national roads 15 and 19.
