Morocco’s Baccalaureate Retake Exam Sees 75% Pass Rate, Higher Success Among Female Students

In Morocco, 41,988 candidates passed the exams of the retake session of the standardized national examination for the baccalaureate 2022. This session was held from July 15 to 19.
In a press release, the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports announced that the success rate among girls reached 82.14% of the total number of candidates who took these retake exams, while among boys, this rate is 75.04% of the number of students. Furthermore, the attendance rate for this session was 92.67%.
As for the international sections of the Moroccan baccalaureate, the success rate in the two sessions is 84.98%, while this percentage was 66.98% for the vocational baccalaureate sections, with 6,659 candidates having participated in these exams. With these results, the success rate in the two sessions for this year is 78.84%, compared to 81.83% in 2021. As for the free candidates, their success rate in the two sessions is 46.99% compared to 56.51% in the 2021 session.
