Moroccan Student Achieves Top Score of 19.44 in 2022 National Baccalaureate Exam

Zaid Lahroussi, a student at the Regional Academy of Education and Training (AREF) of Casablanca-Settat, obtained the best national average, i.e. 19.44/20, according to the results of the regular session of the 2022 unified national baccalaureate exam.
In a press release, the Academy congratulated itself on the performances recorded during this exam, specifying that Zaid Lahroussi is enrolled in the physical sciences branch, French section. In total, 52,674 candidates were declared admitted, i.e. a success rate of 60.26%, the note specifies.
Among them, 52.46% passed with honors, with a success rate among girls reaching 65.71% of the total admitted, adds the same source.
Moreover, the AREF is preparing to present 39,252 students for the make-up session, compared to 11,490 for independent candidates. It will take place on July 15-16-18-19, and the results will be announced on July 22.
