The regular and make-up sessions of the national baccalaureate exam for the 2020-2021 school year resulted in a much better pass rate than last year. A total of 269,031 enrolled candidates from public and private education obtained the precious diploma, a pass rate of 81.83%, compared to 79.62% in 2020.

As for the literature and original education streams, the pass rate is 87.81% among all candidates present, while it reaches 89.52% for the international baccalaureate and 74.9% for the vocational baccalaureate.
Regarding candidates with disabilities, the pass rate is 81.49%. As for free candidates, their pass rate is around 56.51%.
